● First, the Joint Compilation Committee will review and confirm those words selected from existing dictionaries-Pyojun-gugeo-daesajeon from South Korea, Joseonmal-daesajeon from North Korea. Then, new terms will be identified from field and archive researches. The total entry words will be over 300,000.

● New vocabularies for Gyeoremal-keunsajeon will be acquired by literature and field investigations. From literature archives, about 30,000 vocabularies will be newly collected in three years. Four years’ field researches will reveal over 40,000 regional dialects and jargons used in both Koreas and overseas.

● The Joint Compilation Committee members will first draft guidelines in regards to how to write definitions i.e., subsection, order, contents. A draft copy for definitions of all the entry words will be edited and revised by 2011.

● Experts from South and North Korea will work on unifying differences in writing conventions such as the order of consonants and vowels, different pronunciation o f ㄹ/ㅇ in the head of a word, addition of ㅅ between combined words, spacing and spelling of foreign vocabularies. Unified writing conventions will be employed in writing definitions in Gyeoremal-keunsajeon.
